Angle Of Attack (Reissue)

A.K. Pearson Jack puts a lot of superb songs on here -- "Angle of Attack," "Salvation," "Folks, Let's Nebulate," and the "Naive Bids for Stardom" rank among his absolute best riffs -- and the first cassette edition of the album has another couple of gems. I'm not as fond of the ambient tracks. "Permanent Fatal Error" is still the best introduction to Jack Endino's solo work, but this makes a great follow-up listen. Favorite track: Angle Of Attack.

Kyler Noble Spectacular lost Grunge gem as far as i'm considered. Jack Endino is a god. I only wish I could get my hands on the Endgame version of this release so that i could hear even more of his spaced out paradoxical prog/punk take on the great Seattle Sound Favorite track: Create What You Fear.

Salvation 04:15
I went to find myself salvation But nothing they said made sense to me Strange things were happening everywhere I looked People were talking in tongues "Guilt by existence" they seemed to all say Pointing their fingers at me Nothing made sense Leave me alone What could I do But stand up and be on my way I went to find myself salvation But people tried to take $ from me They wouldn't let me have any fun at all Everything seemed to be WRONG Oddly enough though I tried to be cool They seemed to be scared of my mind Nothing made sense Leave me alone What could I do But stand up and be on my way I went to find myself salvation But these crazy people wouldn't let me exist People around me were ranting and raving Seemed that my whole life was sin The only way I could satisfy them Was to turn off my brain and give in Nothing made sense Leave me alone What could I do But stand up and be on my way

Find The Key 03:39
I looked inside myself and realized my life was money-making While there outside myself were other things free for my taking I had to ask myself just why I'd locked myself inside this prison There was no answer there, the other people thought that this was heaven I cut and run to see if there was hope I'd find the key I'd find the key I cut and run to see if there was hope I'd find the key Now they've locked it from inside, I stand out here I cannot hide, I cannot hide My life is better now, I feel so much older now But different Those people that I knew betrayed themselves and never grew at all I cut and run to see if there was hope I'd find the key Now they've locked it from inside, I stand out here And wonder why I wonder why
