Recorded to TEAC 4-track in my basement, 28 Feb 1986. Mixed 2020. An earlier mix of this appeared on the original EndGame Records cassette version of Angle Of Attack. One of a series of songwriting experiments I dubbed the "Atonals" because the riffs and rhythms were intentionally off-kilter. "Atonal #1" became "Scratch" on the first Skin Yard album. "Atonal #2" eventually became the title track on Permanent Fatal Error. I think #3 might have become the title track on Angle Of Attack. This one was once "Atonal #4". A certain young hotshot named Matt played the drums. (Check's in the mail, bro!)
